Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Linea, a macOS application built and sold by playas.dev. By downloading or purchasing Linea you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to scare you.

1. The product

Linea is distributed as a direct download for macOS. Linea Pro is an annual subscription ($39/year) that unlocks the Pro feature set and includes every update released while your subscription is active.

2. Trial

New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You can cancel during the trial from the Stripe customer portal and you will not be charged.

3. Licenses

Your license is a signed file bound to one Mac. It is verified locally, offline.
Moving to a new Mac? Email us and we will rebind it — no questions asked.
If your subscription lapses, Pro features lock again; the free features and your data are never held hostage.
You may not redistribute, resell or share license keys.

4. Payments, renewals and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically every year; you can cancel anytime from the customer portal and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. If something went wrong with a purchase, email edu@playas.dev within 14 days and we will refund you.

5. Acceptable use

Use Linea for anything lawful. Do not attempt to circumvent license verification — it is the only thing funding the work.

6. Warranty and liability

Linea is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, playas.dev is not liable for any damages arising from its use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain (European Union). Questions: edu@playas.dev.
